'Giant Snail ice bucket' c. 1970
An incredibly stylish silver-plated ice bucket in the form of a giant snail, the top of the snail shell with hinged lid, with ‘leaf’ finial, the lid lifting to reveal a removable lemon-gilded liner, the head of the snail complete with ‘eye stalks’. Silver-plated, Italian, circa 1970.
Dimensions: Length 16 inches (41 cms), height 10 inches (26 cms).
