Large silver cigarillo case, 1899

An unusually large cigarette or cigarillo case, in Silver, the interior lemon-gilded with a retention band to hold the cigarillos in place, the spring release button marked 900. The front bears a crest of a lion and beneath the initials ‘AM’ flanked by two dates, 1869 and 1899. Of Continental manufacture.
