'Hat Trunk' by Louis Vuitton, c. 1920s

A rare Hat Trunk in natural cowhide by Louis Vuitton, with leather corners with brass studs, and brass lock and fittings, the all-original interior in plain calico/linen, with removable basket, with signature Louis Vuitton tapes on the inside, the underside framed in in hard wood with the repeated 'Louis Vuitton- London- Paris- Lille- Nice' design applied. The interior bearing the Vuitton label and number 774726, with lock number 056103 , and monogram K.R.B, to underneath the handle.
