1959 Aston Martin DBR1 by John Elwell

A magnificent and unique large-scale aluminium model of the 1959 Aston Martin DBR1 racing car, in Elwell’s signature style of hand formed aluminium panels riveted over a space frame, the cast aluminium wheels with cast metal tyres and hand turned hardwood steering wheel and seats, with interior detailing. Signed and numbered 1/1 2009.

Length of car: 45 inches (115 cms).


Additional Note: In common with all of John Elwell’s works, this model is a unique, one-off piece, taking approximately 400 hours to design and construct from scratch.
