'Talbot Lago Type T26c' by John Elwell

A magnificent and unique large-scale aluminium model of the 1948 Talbot Lago Type T26c racing car, in Elwell's signature style of hand formed aluminium panels riveted over a space frame, the cast aluminium wheels with hand turned hardwood tyres and seat, interior detailing etc, complete with hardwood plinth bearing signed and dated plaque, numbered 1/1 2007.

Length of car: 42 inches (105 cms).

Additional Notes: in common with ball of John Elwell's works, this model is a unique, one-off piece, taking approximately 400 hours to design and construct from scratch.
