'Nelson's Column'

A bronze model of Nelson’s column comprising the square base plinth, with open decorated and three plain panels, the smooth Corinthian column, with rope base and cast finial figure on a turned plinth, with a patinated finish.

Height overall 43 inches (109 cms).


Additional Note: In 1874 a group of Naval Officers commissioned a silver model of Nelson’s Column to present to the Royal Naval College. Before the mould was destroyed, an employee of the Silversmith’s cast this bronze version which has been handed down by descent.
