‘To The Attack’ poster by R. Nockolds, 1942
Fosh and Cross Ltd, for the HM Stationery Office: ‘To The Attack’. A rare original poster, featuring an artwork by Roy Nockolds (English, 1911-1979) depicting an air raid in progress, with description: ‘’Heavy “Stirling” bombers raid the Nazi Baltic port of Lübeck and leave the docks ablaze’. Signed in the artwork, Roy Nockolds, 1942. Conservation linen mounted and unframed.
